Overall reliability

Excellent in most respects

It’s my 4th Lexus, and all have been totally reliable. Superbly built, excellent seats.
My only real criticism is that I think the ride is slightly too firm for a ‘luxury’ car, given that it’s not particularly sporty. That’s probably a result of the weight of the hybrid system batteries. It’s not uncomfortable, however (which my previous IS F-Sport was) and better than any other Lexus I’ve had in this regard: I do think it’s the one area where Lexus could do better. Fuel economy is good for the size of car, but contrary to what lots of people seem to think, it is NOT better in town than on motorways (provided you stick to the speed limits…)
