Fast, comfortable and great to look at

We got he car new in 2007 and its done 62000 pretty faultless miles. Its been carefully maintained, and we had the cam belt replaced at 5 years even though the mileage didn't really warrant it. There have been a few issues with squeaks and groans from the front suspension (which I believe to be quite common on the GT as well as the 156) and a few electrical glitches (like a door open warning when the door is clearly closed!), but that's about it.
Its really, really comfortable in the front and back - its a proper 4 seater and has a huge boot too which is rare indeed on a coupe. The built in cd-rom satnav has been great although its probably a bit old fashioned nowadays. We regularly get 42mpg and it can be as high as 54mpg on a motorway run - better mpg is achieved using high grade diesel.
The problem is what to replace it with when the time comes. There really is nothing like it - ok, maybe the Germans have something similar, but no thanks, we'll pass....
Quite tempted with the facelifted Guiletta 1.7 Cloverleaf. Might wait for the new Guilia.
Our other car is a Fiat Panda 4x4, so would like to stay Italian if at all possible.
Last thing: wish we had got silver with red leather or red with black leather! LOL
