Skoda introduces new Dragon Skin paint colour for Octavia vRS

  • Fan vote chooses Dragon Green as new Skoda Octavia vRS paint option
  • The paint will also available on 130-unit limited edition Octavia Sportline
  • Other new paint colours also available on Sportline models later this year
  • Available from 4 March for £855

There's a new paint option available on Skoda's Octavia vRS, and it was voted for by fans.

To celebrate 30 years of the Octavia, Skoda asked UK fans what colour they'd like to add onto the performance Octavia vRS model. The choice was between Dragon Skin, Storm Blue and Tangerine Orange.

After voting took place across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, the public chose Dragon Skin – a vibrant metallic yellow – as the winner, and as such customers can order it to adorn their new Octavia vRS Hatch or Estate from 4 March, at a cost of £855 on top of the standard price.

Can I change tyre profile to make my car more comfortable?

I have a Skoda Octavia vRS and do about 20k or more a year. Can I change the profile of my tyre for comfort? They are runflat tyres at the moment.
It may be possible to fit a tyre with a bigger aspect ratio to give a taller sidewall, but we would not advise increasing this by more than five - so if your current tyres are a 40 profile we would not recommend anything more than 45. You may also find that switching from runflats to conventional tyres will improve the ride quality, as runflats have stiffer sidewalls to give them strength but this can result in a harsh ride.
