Pricing revealed for Hyundai Veloster
Hyundai’s stylish new Veloster Coupe will cost from £17,995 when it goes on sale in February 2012. All models are powered by a 1.6-litre four cylinder engine, producing 140PS, coupled to either a six-speed manual or a dual clutch transmission.
A Sport model will be available as well as the base model. All models get a 7-inch touch screen media centre, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, reversing sensors, 17-inch alloy wheels, climate control, and multi-function steering wheel.
Sport models get larger 18-inch alloys, leather upholstery, heated front seats, cruise control, and keyless entry and start. Additionally there is a media pack which adds enhanced audio system, parking guidance and red leather.
The base level model will be available as a Blue Drive model, with low rolling resistance tyres and a stop/start system to improve fuel consumption and lower emissions to 47.9mpg and 137g/km respectively.
Tony Whitehorn, Managing Director, Hyundai Motor UK says: “The new Veloster will bring added emotional appeal to the Hyundai brand. It showcases a sleek and distinctive design in an innovative three-door coupe form that provides practicality, and individuality as well as dynamic performance.”
