Volkswagen introduces Polo Match

Volkswagen has launched a new Match trim for the Polo which replaces the existing SE and Moda models. The new specification adds an extra £650 worth of equipment but with a pricetag that means it costs £215 less than the models is replaces. Prices start at £11,300 for the 1.2-litre 60PS manual.

Exterior highlights of the new Polo Match include 15-inch ‘Castille’ alloy wheels, front fog lights and heat-insulating tinted rear windows. Comfort and convenience are the main focus inside the cabin with manual air conditioning, an RCD 310 CD radio, multifunction computer and MDI (Multi Device Interface) with iPod connectivity all standard. It also gets electric windows and a comfort pack, incorporating remote central locking and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors

Also available are a range of finance deals for the Polo Match, including one year’s free insurance and three years or 30,000 miles free servicing when bought with a Solutions PCP package,

The Match is offered in three and five-door guise, and is available with a choice of three efficient engines. The two petrol units – a 1.2-litre three-cylinder producing 60PS and  a 1.4-litre 85PS, plus one diesel – a 1.2-litre 75PS. All have a five-speed manual transmission as standard while a seven-speed DSG option is available with the 1.4-litre petrol engine.
