I have had this car since 2006, I ve spent money on a second-hand engine, gearbox new clutch. A complete new exhaust system including a new cat. I paid just before Christmas £200 to get it through MOT. Then the Key lost programming with immobiliser, cost new key and programming about £120. Then afew days later car would not start. recovery came out and the code on his machine was for the key/immobiliser. The cost of having a new one fitted with all the bits changed was crazy. Question 1 can the immobiliser be bypassed. 2. Could I do this or is it better to get in a vehicle electrician?
