nissan micra k12 1.5 dci - nissan micra K12 bluetooth - jgg

I am buying a used Nissan micra 09 plate 1.5 diesel. It currently does not have bluetooth installed. However, i was wondering if nissan would be able to install it for me as an extra? My friend has bluetooth installed into the radio system, would this be possible to have installed into my car? Ideally i would like this. Or will i have to buy a gadget such as a satnav with bluetooth facility separately from somewhere like halfords? Help!

You could get a Parott bluetooth kit plumbed into the existing system and using the car speakers. Far better than the manufacturer's offering and you can update it as things change rather than being at the mercy of Nissan and hugely expensive dealer firmware updates when you find your new phone won't talk to it.

I fitted a Parott 3200LS to the Zafira. Not a difficult job once I'd tracked down an adaptor lead for GM's proprietary stereo connections.

Parrot is the way to go.You can pair up to 5 phones and is easily updateable. The only problem with a k12 micra,is that half the dash has to be removed to gain access to the radio.Take it to a specialist audio fitter.hth

Dads 57 plated K12 1.2 Acenta has Bluetooth as standard. Maybe a better radio is all you need, should be plenty at scrappers or on e-bay. You would probably need the steering wheel since the controls are on there.
