Vauxhall Insignia 2009 2.0 diesel - Insignia DPF Fault Dpf light on - petejohns

hello

I'm having a small problem with my 2009 Vauxhall Insignia . The dpf light is on and car is underpower and uses more fuel than it use to be. I went to the dealer they done regeneration and software update but after one week the fault comes back. Did any of you guys discover similar problem? What is the best solution? Dealer quoted me for new filter. Quite a lot but also I have seen the opinions the new fiter could help only for short period of time. Any info much appreciated.

If it is the 160 brake then it is a widespread problem that Vauxhall are trying to ignore
