VW POLO Match 58 Reg 1.4tdi - Remote locking - Jockstrop

Can anyone help, not sure if my Polo has remote locking or not, I have a press button on my key fob which appears to be for remote? but it does not remotely lock the vehicle can it be the battery has gone or is just that remote locking is not an option on my Polo's spec....help

VW POLO Match 58 Reg 1.4tdi - Remote locking - elekie&a/c doctor

Models with remote locking have a 2 button fob with a flick out key.The press button on your key is a torch.hth
