Skoda Fabia vRS - bottom arm bushes - x19file

Hi, my 2007Fabia vRS Se has just failed the MOT on front suspension- bottom arm bushes.. (2.4.G.2).. after Only 31,300K miles! My friend's BMW did over 100,000k without that! Is this a substandard OE part??

Also,it was pulled up on nr & off side rear directional indicators, incorrect colours!! (1.4.A.2f). I have Never changed these & they have passed the last 2 MOTs... am I being ripped off??

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any indication that these bushes are worn, does it rattle, does the steering wander, are the tyres wearing unevenly? If not and the lenses are original I would take it somewhere else or at least get them to show you what is wrong with the bushes.

The bushes are quite weak on the model. It wouldn't surprise me if they had gone.

The indicator failure may be due to fading of the colour-new lenses needed or some accessory shops sold little bottles of clear,coloured paint.
