Recently I was parking my car and heard a big bang, like I crashed into something and car went lower on the driverside. I checked the front wheel arches after a few weeks later & driverside front was about 3 cm lower than the other side after this the steering got alot harder and car started to drift on the steering. So far I changed all 4 shocks and steering rack replaced with new track rod ends. The coil springs do not appear to have been damaged the steering has started to drift when going fast. There has been no crashes on the car before all this happened steering was perfect. Four wheel tracking also done. When driving the car & coming to a stop there is like a creeping sound.

Could it be an engine mount ????

Please If anyone can help please contact me on chauhanhitesh@hotmail.com

You heard a bang the car is lower on one side 100% symptoms of a broken spring.

There is no other way for the car to drop on one corner dont be kidded by how it looks a bottom section can break and fall into the road leaving what looks like a intact spring.

The 'creeping' sound when coming to a stop will be the broken end of the spring gouging into its seat.

Count the coils and note where the coils finish.
