hi there

I was driving down the motoway and the engine cut out for a sec,thought no more of it, then 5 miles up the road the engine died on me, i thought it could be a fuel block problem so i bought a fuel filter and fitted it, still the same engine wont start,but now its saying on the dash oil press STOP.

Ive changed the oil and filter

any ideas

The engine turns over, its Diesel and the year is 1999, the oil was ok to , ive since changed to oil tho and the filter , i draind out 8 pints of old oil and now got flushing oil in it,because it did need an oil change,and also know now that the timing belt is ok it turns when i turn the engine over.
