BMW 328Ci Auto 1999 (v reg) / 45,900 miles - Car valuation - clukker

Hi I was in a non-fault accident and my car is apparently Cat C

The albany assistance are writing off my car and said their 'independant engineer' have used Glass to assess the value of my car at 2200 eventhough it has only done 45,000 miles.

I think this is a bit low as I have looked on auto trader and found the same car valued between 2500-3700 with about double my milage.

I looked on the ombusmans website who say they don't give a rats ars@ about adverts and go on reputable valuation companies such as GLASS / CAB / Parker.

I was wondering if anybody knew where I could get a CAB valuation from. preferbly for free :P.

I have found this site www.exchangeandmart.co.uk/car-valuations but not sure if its legit.

I'm planning on buying back my car from the insurance company and then fixing it up at my local garage for cheaper.

Thanks for even reading this far :)

Any help is very very very much appreciated.

Networkq.co.uk will give you a free CAP valuation if that's any good to you. Down near the bottom there's a "Value My Car" button.
