FIAT Punto - Fiat Punto Mk2 interior fan problem - rightcar

Hi All.

I have just bought another Fiat Punto!..it seems fine apart from the interior fan. It works and the fan speed changes when the dial is turned but there is very little flow from the vents at any speed.

Is this a fan problem or a problem with the position dial, i am wondering if there is a blockage somewhere..if I select feet, face, screeen and so on..there is flow but very, very little. It is the air con model...that definitely needs a regas or it is knackered.

As it has air con I imagine it has a cabin filter. Check that first as it could well be blocked.

Hi.

Yes..5 minutes after i posted this message yesterday, that is exactly what I did and ..it work!..I have never seen a pollun filter so clogged before.
