Nissan Almera 2005 - Headlights - Low Beam doesn't work - Andaaz

Hi

I have a Nissan Almera 2005 1.6s and Low beam on headlight doesnt work - i Have replaced the bulbs twice but still nothing - But all bulbs work on high beam - I have checked the fuses (I think the correct ones) the seem to be ok as well.
If you can please let me know how I can resolve this problem - Firstly if you can guide me where to look for the fuses just to ensure that I have checked the right stuff and secondly if fuses are fine where is the problem and how can I rectify that myself.

It can't be a 2005 1.6. It's either older, or a 1.5 or 1.8, or a diesel.

They had headlamps replaced on some models around 2003 due to the dip-beam reflectors melting.

What happens when you switch to low beam? Do the lights stay on high or go out?

Sounds like you need to check the relevant relay and the switch.

Lights go out completely, I will get the relay checked today
Another problem which came up was, when I took the main fuse out and put it back the engine management light has come up... Do you know why or can you help. Thanks
