Vivaro 1.9cdti - Loss of power - Dream Warrior

hi, got a problem with my 2004 vivaro 1.9 cdti, when I get a bit heavy with my accelerator I get a yellow/orange light on my dashboard, it's the one that lights up to show glows plugs have warmed up, & I lose all power, if I stop & turn the engine off & then restart the light goes off & power returns, anyone got any ideas what the problem is?
