Daihatsu Charade - 2006 Daihatsu Charade idle won't settle.... - seefman

When the car is cold-started the it fast idles until it warms up and then settles at a normal 800rpm.

When the engine has been running for some time, the idle quite often hovers around 1100-1400 revs and will not go down.

Whether or not electrical is on e.g. the headlights/air-con, etc.... it makes no difference.

Any ideas guys?
