Hyunda IX35 - Still looking for a 2.0 diesel IX35? - Craigdm
Got chatting in the dealers yesterday while picking up my IX35 from it's first service and ended up doing a deal to swop it for a new Juke.
Already bought a turbo juke from the same place about 6 months ago, but this time bought a diesel as I do more miles than SWMBO and couldn't stand the 30mpg of the dig-t.
Got a good price for my IX35 in the deal, however if anyone is still looking for a 2.0 diesel premium in casa White, drop me a line and you might be able to save yourself some cash by buying mine from me direct!

Where would be the best place to advertise this car?
Are there people out there who would be happy to buy a 1 year old car outside the dealer network?
Obviously the remaining 4 years of warrantee are transferable, so I suppose it's just a case of financing the purchase.
I expect the dealer will be retailing my car at around the £18.5k Mark, if I could get £17k for it I would be happy.

Avant will be pretty unhappy when he sees this blatent plug...

Someone will be happy to buy it-at the right price-£15K would be more appropriate; the resale of new cars plummets as soon as they're driven off the forecourt.

Ebay and Autotrader are the usual avenues for advertising-not to mention the obligatory handwritten notice on the rear nearside window!

Certainly wasn't meant as a 'plug', appologies if I've stepped beyond the boundaries.

Dealer has already underwritten the deal with a value of £16.5k on my ix35, so I was just lookin for ways to sweeten the deal as it were.

That's a generous offer-very generous offer. Doubt you'll beat it!

Fair point, Unthrottled, but I think in this case Craig is just being helpful, given that there's a known shortage of this model. When you get your Juke, Craig, we'll be interested to know how it compares with the ix35.

We used to have a separate 'classifieds' section of the forum, for private sellers only, but it wasn't often used.

It will be interesting -

There are quite a few owners getting rid of their Juke diesels because of abysmal MPG.

I had the petrol variant, nice wee car although the paint is very soft and easily marked.

Had a look at the ix35 but it just looks too cheap and blingy in my opinion. settled on a Ford Kuga with the X-Pack instead.

Good luck with the deal!!
