Toyota Yaris (99-05) - Correct way of ventilating a car - CarNovice28

Hi Stupid question but I don't know how to ventilate my car properly i.e. how to prevent windows from frosting over on the inside.

How can I prevent build up of condensation, or get rid of it more easily?

I always end up with wet inside windows! :-(

Thanks.

heating off, windows partly open for half a mile or so before parking .

else the warm air holds more moisture than cold and the moisture condenses on the screen when the screen cools

Thanks very much. Would anyone happen to know what is best to clean windows to take all of the moisture build up away?

Thanks!

We have two pre 2005 Yaris.

Clean all windows internally with microfibre cloths - and a vinegar window spray. Dry with microfibre cloth.

Direct the side vents at each end of the dash to side windows.

Air - as above - to fresh not recriculate.

Setting on left heater rotary control set to windscreen.. (turn clockwise). Setting on Heat to Red. Fan setting 2 to full..

Hope this helps.

If you have wet clothes or damp carpets, it won't stop misting up... but it will dry it up quickly.
