hi guys just new to the forum....

recently bought a dispatch 2005 1.9d.

sounded like there was a blow out on exhaust so took it to exhaust centre and cost me £350 for full exhaust set-up...after that the sound is still there but seems to be coming from under the bonnet at the air box..could this be the air flow meter? it also uses a lot of fuel and has got bad acceleration..when sitting idleing it would rev up on its own.

does all these issues sound like a air flow meter problem? if yes is there A way to test the air flow meter?
