hi i have no sound from my horn when i press the buttons,checked fuse,poped buttons out checked the wires,there is no clicking noise when pressed,i think its electrical but the wheel has air bags so dont realy know what to about it,the actual horn sounds once if i leave say the bonnet open and try to arm the alarm so pretty sure it is steering wheel,any ideas?the wheel has 2 horn buttons either side,Thanks

You can safely remove the airbag its held on with If I remember torque head bolts at the rear of the airbag,but before you remove it test to see if you have 12v at the horn while being pressed.You can pick the steering wheel switches up on ebay quite cheaply if they are at fault but I suspect its the actual connections in the steering column.

Are you sure the alarm uses the horn as a sounder?

Like you I thought that thats why I said check at the horn for 12v seems strange.

yes its defo the horn as a sounder when the door or bonnet not shut properly and try to arm the alarm it sounds once just nothing at all when buttons are pressed i have mot tomorow as well, im going to try and sort it before it goes in my brother has the same car so ill swap the steering wheel over see if that works.
