Sorry scfc_151 - if I had seen your message I would have checked price when I was @ Gateshead Costco collecting my tyres yesterday. If you need the price of the tyres at your local branch try phoning them.

Yes - they do (Bosch) batteries at good prices. And yes they have 20% off 4 Michelin tyres until 21 November. They do now seem to stock a very limited number of Continentals too that are (I think) slightly cheaper than Michelins but dont get the current 20%. From memory a Michelin Energy 205/55x16 is about £88 each inc fit, balance etc. I have just bought 4 195/65x15" Michelin Alpin A4's (winter tyres) for my spare wheels at an (I think) unbeatable £220 ish. I would much rather use my good pals at ATS as they do so much more but they were £60+ dearer and that was after their own 25% Michelin discount.

Downside of Costco tyres is that (as far as cars etc) they do not do punctures, tracking etc. However they do other auto stuff & diy tools that can be a good deal, as well as the food...... Costco are also very good about a no quibble guarantee, and offer 5 years guarantee on TVs.
