hi, i have 1997 fiesta 1.8d ghia..the door open light on dash stays on and there is an intermittent problem with the imobiliser it flashes as if not reading key..i have had the fault code read and it pointed to the ignition transponder/reader..i changed this and all was well until yesterday after a cambelt change when the bonnet was put down it returned..after a wiggle of bonnet switch all was well but the problem returns intermittently..after cleaning switch and plug with wd 40 all seemed ok and door open light indicator was working correctly..but now the problem has returned again reads and starts most of the time if left a while but immediatly after using it if you put the key in it dont...could the bonnet switch be causing this problem as its part of the alarm system ?...thanks
