Xantia Wheel Bearing - Darren Salmon

Test drove a 94 M 2.0 SXi yesterday.
V. clean body.
All the gadgets worked.
Had history.
Price was right.

Although I did notice a lot of noise coming from the rear near-side wheel when drove at cruising speed.
I assume this is the wheel bearing as the car had 100k on the clock.

Did not deter me from leaving a deposit as I assume this is not too onerous a task.
Can anyone confirm this.
Also how much would I expect to pay for a bearing.
Don't mind carrying out the repair myself (with Haynes manual!)
