While taking off the inlet manifold on my 205 diesel to work on the exhaust manifold, I rather stupidly removed the four cylinder head bolts on the bulkhead side of the engine, thinking it was part of the inlet manifold.
I have put the bolts back and torqued them up to what I believe to be the correct settings 65ft lbs. My manual is a bit vague and gives various figures and stages and I am just a bit concerned that, if I got this wrong and I strt running it I might blow a cyl head gasket.
I would appreciate any advice re cyl head torque settings.
The engine is a 1769cc XUD non-turbo
