Mercedes cdi 220 (2005) - Car sometimes won't start! - Gilli

My Mercedes intermittently fails to start. The ignition key starts the dashboard displays and the fan - but the engine fails to start. Eventually (after about an hour) it will start. The garage cannot find out what is wrong. Any ideas, please?

Looking here, it sounds like injectors or glow plugs which seem common on this vehicle

Did you find out what the problem was for the car failing to start. I am having the same problem you mentioned and would like to find out how to put it right.
