moved, not informed DVLA, does it invalid insuranc - stevegos

My sister-in-law is insured to drive my car. She has been living with us for 6 months and I just found out she has not informed DVLA of the change of address. I believe this to be an offence, but my main concern is if she had an accident, and the insurance company found out, would they then invalidate the insurance?

If you are referring to her driving licence then it is not a problem but do apply to change it. Not changing the V5C Registration Document can lead to a DVLA fine but it does not invalidate the insurance. Regards Peter
