I hate it.
In pub with mates and his girlfriend etc and we start talking, one may talk about her driving lesson and I make conversation but carried away and before we know it we are talking about biting points or test tips.
Then people sort of say shut up. The girls then go off to get some drink and the person that says shut up suddenly starts talking about cars and what he wants next etc.
I kind of miss all that chat when it was just the lads, we could spend ours talking about what is faster round the top gear track a Fiesta or a Corsa etc.
Anybody else found this, a mate will tell you stop talking about cars but soon as he/she gets the chance never stops talking about cars them selves?
It only seems to happen in pubs.

its easy to get into a car conversation in a pub that you know you wont win so i usually leave it out and let my mate dave have all the answers
pubs are the best place for car talk though its just by the time i get to one car talk is the last thing i want to talk about
