99 2.5 Airbag light staying on - steady.eddie
Hi The air bag warning light stays on on my car, is there a common fault on these cars and do I need a tool to turn it off, anyone have any ideas, thanks

I had a light activate on my old E46 - it was a wiring loom fault to the passenger seat belt buckle - a common fault - initially reset by an indie, it failed again and I got the loom replaced, dirt cheap job.

99 2.5 Airbag light staying on - mike hannon
Friend of mine (no he's not my hairdresser) had the airbag light come on in his Z3 recently - on the way back from the Controle Technique (MOT test) as it happens.
The BMW main dealer just re-set it during the a service a couple of days later, didn't make an issue of it and it hasn't come back on since.
