98 1.6 What to look out for !! - Yorkshiregeordie
I have been looking at a 1998 A3 1.6 petrol with 138K on the clock.
The car is in excellent condition and drives well and also comes with a full service history.
It is quite well priced but I could buy a 51 plate focus Zetec for a similar price but there is no comparison with the build quality.
I assume that the down side of purchasing the Audi will be the cost of spares and repairs and probably the insurance. Can anyone tell me about the fuel consumption and are there any other known problems that may occur with an A3 of this age and mileage.
