Hello,
someone's snapped my driver's side door mirror off when it was parked. The mirror itself and its housing is all intact and the electrics (remote tilting & heating) still work. The only thing that is broken is the part that attaches the mirror casing to the door (the hinged bit that allows the mirror to be stored against the door when parked.
Is it possible to buy just this part? If so where from and how do I fit it myself?

The wing mirror assembly is available as just that - an assembly, so unfortunately I think you'll have to replace the whole thing.

It's worth checking with a scrap dealer, they may have one from a write-off.

cheers for the advice folks, I'll definitely try a scrap yard. If I have to buy the whole assembly would this be the right thing?

It is the right mirror for your focus but its manually adjusted and yours is electric

Information: electric heated (that is yours)
Second one no: cable operated
Idealy if you can get one primed thats electric, you could buy a tin of paint in your colour and give it blow over to match.

It's a couple of quid more, but I've already got the spray paint, so I reckon it's worth it.

If i remember right Prise off the cover where the mirror switch is, disconnect the wire to switch ,you should see three screws that holds the mirror to the door.
Undo screws remove mirror replace with new one reconnect switch clip panel back on job done.
