Laguna timing belt change interval?

Laguna timing belt change interval? - Emerson Fittipaldi
Can anyone tell me what the timing belt change interval is on a Renault Laguna 1.8 (8v)? I have looked on the internet and through my documentation, but can't find anything. Thanks.

The book says 72K...but as usual I would say once you get to 50K+ think about doing it.

Thanks david! I could'nt find it anywhere? It has just clocked 54,000 so I think I will book it in to be on the safe side, I dont want a big bill again after my old Honda 12v engine belt went!

EF,

By the book I meant the trade timing belt book. As a matter of interest I do have the Haynes for this car (book ref. 3252) and on page 1A.3 they cover the issue under the 36K schedule. Perhaps a bit soon but their comments are broadly along the lines of most on this site.
