New Tyne Tunnel signage - Snakey

What is the point of the new digital sign at the North Entrance to the tunnel? These things must cost thousands and it simply shows the time, and the the hopelessly inaccurate message 'here 2 to deliver for you'

If the tunnels closed, its pretty easy to work out, what with the red lights and barriers so perhaps this should changed to a more meaningful message
- Here 2 make you Q
- Here 2 take your cash

I wouldn't mind so much but at £2.40 a day to use the dirtiest,grottiest tunnel in Europe and this is how they spend it!
