Citroen C3 cruise control - madman
Does anyone out there know if the Citroen C3 SX has the same wiring loom as the exclusive model? If it has what would be involved in fitting the steering wheel and enabling the cruise control?

Without trying to sound sarcastic, ask your dealer. There are relatively few C3 on the road. I should think that replacing the steering wheel would be a dealer job, you will have to mess with the airbag, program the computer so that it knows it has cruise control.

With regards to the engine control, I think (not sure) but dependant on engine I think some Citroen engines are fully electronic, i.e. no accelerator cable. If this is the case, I guess that adding cruise control would be quite easy as it would only need electronic control.

My fathers Renault 25 had some kind of vacuum powered device that actually pulled the throttle cable for you when the cruise control was active. I doubt anything like that would be used now.

Which engine do you have?

HDI 16valve. I know that it is all electronic but wandered if there would be a Citroen employee out there who could answer my question.
