Vivaro 2003 2.5 DTI Speedo - Biggsey
Hi, I bought a Vivaro panel van recently, its a great van but im having a problem with the speedo, it works when it chooses and when it does work it only works upto 35mph, which would be fine in town but I work in the lake district were its all 60mph.
The chap i bought it off hand alot of work done on it before he sold it and the garage sed that it was a faulty sensor, but why they didnt change it then i dont know.
I took it to my local garage and they reckoned it was sumthing to do with the ECU, so they just said to take it to Vauxhall.
Does anybody know what the problem might be?

Vivaro 2003 2.5 DTI Speedo - Screwloose

The speed signal is networked from the ABS through the engine ECU to the dash.

This could be the dash failing or a corrupt speed signal; getting it plugged-in is the quickest way to find it.
