i have a Renault laguna and just recently the car doesn't want to start. everything else works fine, engine cranks but there is no ignition spark! an the red immobiliser light constantly flashes when the key is in the ignition on second and start position when you turn the key i hear a relay clicking twice in the dash board area on the passenger side i was going to investigate that but i wasn't sure if was normal and iv'e been trying other things. do you have any ideas ???

Hi, Try using the spare key to start, i had this problem on my clio,

tryed that i also tryed ldz of others things. i heard somewhr that if you dissconect the battery an leave the lights on for about 15mins+ it drains the ECU power and forgets any corrupt infomation after i tryed this the car started first time

after that i tryed alsorts of things to make it go wrong i.e turning off an on fine
try with other key, fine locked the car with the central locking and unlocked it an it didnt want to know anymore! :( red light flashes rapidly again when key is turned

You appear to have an immobilizer fault; they're often the source of grief on these and your best bet is to call in a vehicle locksmith to identify which of many issues yours is suffering.

i already know that! but as i dnt have any money i am unable to do things like that!

basicly im looking for advise that people wld be able to give so i can look at it myself as i am in the trade!
