Hi,

just looking for some advice. I have just bought a 2006 Leon Stylance, less than 20k on the clock. love the car but have a problem thats driving me around the bend. There is a squeek from the inside springs of the drivers seat anytime i go over a bump. I know the previous owner and she was petite (read weighted nothing) and as i'm about 16 stone i was wondering if it was the seat just wearing in if you know what i mean? has anyone else had similar experiences. I know its a stupid minor complaint but its really driving me insane as i hate rattles and the like in the car!!!

Understand about the rattles/squeak phobia. I'd be tempted to give it a squirt (not too liberal - the smell can linger a bit) of WD40 or similar in the affected area. Caveat obviously about getting the stuff on the fabric or coming through from underneath etc.

might have to do something like tha but its in the seat back. its driving me around the bend at this stage. takes the shine off the new car...
