Deals on a D4 D Sol - scipi
Im looking to buy a new Auris D4 D Sol as there are deals with discounts up to 20%. Seems that this car is a bit of a flop as you dont see many on the roads in Europe. Is there reliability problems ?

Seems the 308 isn't selling retail either, wonder if the price of these two is too high or is it that they are both incredibly ugly compared to the models they replaced.

Havent heard of any reliability issues.

They look too similar to the cars they replaced, and don't show enough tangible improvements in other ways. VW seem to be able to evolve the Golf and improve it but still ensure that it's recognisable as a Golf. And the Mark V is in a different league for handling and steering response from the Mark IV.

I should say that I had a D4D Auris on a 2-day test drive and liked it a lot: if Toyota had offered an estate it would have been on the shortlist. You need the 2.0 diesel engine, not the 1.4.

There's a 2.2 Diesel with 180BHP if you are after a performer

However all Auris's have a rather dull image even with 180 BHP it disappoints of the look
