2004 1.5DCi - Replacement front disks and pads - csgmart
Got myself a replacement set of pads and disks for the Modus - plan to fit them during the 'spare' time I have in between Xmas and the New Year.

I've fitted a fair few disks and pads in my time - anyone know of any special tools or procedures that I will need to be aware of, or should it be a simple job?

{year and engine details obtained from a forum search as we like those details included in the header in case there are any differences with age / engine size of the vehicle and question being asked. Assuming I have got info correct? - DD}

I don't know if it's the same on the Modus, but the Scenic is apparently prone to flipping its master cylinder seals when you push the piston back in. The recommended method is to clamp the flexible hose with a pair of hose clamps, and then crack the bleed nipple open as you push the piston back in. I'm going to need to do this job soon on ours.

Cheers
