2001 TDi (110) Timing belt intervals? - bobbyandmeg
My daughter's 2001TDI (110) Toledo has done 110,000 miles and has had two timing belt and tensioner changes. When I advised her to have the next one done at 120k miles she said that a friend had told her that every 40k was too often and that the belt should last for at least 60k. Advice would be welcome because I will have to fork out if things go wrong big time!

My advice...tell her if it goes before 60thou, the friend and herself can pick up the bill between them. Bet that'll change the advice PDQ.
