2003 1.9TDi - Steering not returning to centre - steer
I have a 2003 passat 1.9tdi sport which i have just purchased. the steering not returning to dead centre and stays at slight angle to the left or right if i do not manually correct it, if i do it steers nice and straight. Does anyone know if this is normall for this sort of car, if its not what is the problem

If the steering wheel can have a left or right set on the same bit of road then you have a problem. Keep an eye on the tyre wear. A full geometry check may be needed- I believe the Passat has a very complicated suspension geometry.
