Hi every one
should my x reg 206 have a indicator solonoid ithink it should be on the right hand side of the engine on the bulkhead indicators didnt work when i bought it but it was cheap any advice would be great thanks mark

Do the hazard lights work? It's likely that the indicators are a function of the BSI [Built-in Systems Interface - a sort of hideously fragile body-control module] on that year. There are fuses on it that need checking.

Get someone with a good scanner to plug in and check the functionality of the BSI and whether it's reading the column module's request.. It could be a programming error, or a badly-managed battery change that corrupted the software.

A BSI replacement will usually need to be done at the dealer as it contains a security code.
