316i 4dr 1.9 1999: - Engine idle Problems - rbleotw
Hi Guys

Whilst driving to work to today i noticed that the engine was making strange noises. I.e normal when driving but when i slow down the engine sound gets louder.

After a while i noticed that when the car is at a stop in neutral the engine remains idle at 1500 revs? I assume that this isnt normal as i havent noticed it before.

Does anyone have any idea what may have / or is causing it? i am going to take into a garage but would appreciate any thoughts.
