Peugeot 406: any benefit from vpower - V1ctor

Hi, I have recently bought a Y reg 2001 peugeot 406 1.8 petrol. I was wondering if there would be any benefit from using shell vpower or bp ultimate. I have read the manual and it does not mention whether it is better to run on 95 or 98 RON.

I understand that some cars can adjust their fuel consumption according to the type of petrol being used. Will this happen in my car?

I would appreciate any help and advice from users of BP ultimate or shell vpower, or peugeot owners, (and anyone else for that matter)

I personally don't notice much difference but apparently it keeps your engine clean so that's why I use it. Best thing to do is just try it and make your own mind up!
