According to this weeks AutoExpress, the end of this year there will be a revised Ford Focus. External styling clues from new Mondeo make it bolder and better looking IMHO. And updates to the C-MAX will be used to adapt the interior.
I think this is the car the MkII Focus should have been if it ends up looking lijke the images in the magazine. Although the number plate reads Focus III.

There's a hint of Alfa GT around the haunches there :)
If the 'normal' car looks that good (and if they can keep the weight down) then the almost-certain-to-appear ST or equivalent should be stunning.

"Feline" headlights and big gob - its a Peugeot! The wheels look very big, in the arches, I suppose at that size they are a costly extra?

That big open mouth would definately put me off buying the Focus no matter how well it drives and handles, am I one of it's biggest fans, well at least up to when this ugly mug comes out.
I also hate the looks of the big mouth Peugeot, looks like a whale trying to catch its dinner.
What on earth is driving the design people at Peugeot and Ford these days ?
Why not stick go faster stipes down the side, anything but please Ford not the big mouth it's horrible.

I would say with those wheels and grille this is the ST or at least very similar.

Stunning. And I hate fords.

Much much sharper than the current ones, its as if this is the true successor to the original.

Agreed, if Ford had launched this back in 2005 there would have been a much happier sales force, I remember being gutted when I saw the curent model, we were expecting so much and got a slap in the face!

...but would you buy it ?

"...but would you buy it ?"
Well I might go for the Mondeo but if top end ones looked like this maybe. But I prefer to have a car in the class above the Focus - more metal on the motorway. Had smaller cars before (e.g. Astra, Golf) but since the accident in a Fiesta I want lots of hard metal between me and HGVs behind.
When I know monthly costs on the company scheme out will come the spreadsheet to do a real comparison, including tax, MPG, etc.
I probably should opt out but had enough issues with cars to not want the hastle to sort out, even if still under warranty ;-)

Yep, in saloon or 3 door form provided it has at least a 2.5 litre engine. :-)

You mean 2.5 litre turbo! This is certainly how Focus Mk II should have looked. The original was a breath of fresh air (did not like inside though) but the latest is bland.
