VW Golf Coolant Oil Specs and Suppliers - hn
I have a 2004 2.0l FSI Golf and need to order some coolant and LONG LIFE oil.
I'd like to get it on line, if I can, to save trekking to a dealer.
Does anybody know:
a) Who sells it on line
b) what grades i need - I do not have the handbook handy and have forgotten the specs.

Do a forum search (right hand side of screen) for posts authored by 'oilman' - you may have to go back for a year or two, but I seem to remember he and is brother ran/worked for an oil distributor, and he used to to group offers for such groups as briskoda.net

The oil spec is written on the engine next to the oil cap.

You can use shell helix or castrol long life in it, but it needs to be a certain grade (as per your engine sticker).

Appropriate coolant you can get from ECP, by mail order if you wish. In fact they probably sell the long-life oil as well...
