I am having terrible trouble buying one of the most common cars on the road! Main dealers have told me on various occasions that 1) they cannot guarantee a price for the Galaxy next month, so I would have to order and then the price would be agreed 2) that I cannot have the LX with parking sensors, they would have to be after market fitted 3) that there are no Galaxys like this in stock.
I thought that we negotiated a price, and then the dealer ordered it for me... how naive. I then went to a well known internet broker who, on his website, clearly stated I could order my galaxy with options for £16.5k. I paid my deposit (by CC) and was then 'phoned to say that "there aren't any Galaxy's around at the moment" and to "'phone to discuss my requirements".
Is it Ford or are these problems just created by brokers and dealers? Can anyone recommend a place where I can get a New Galaxy LX with parking sensors and metallic paint for close to £16.5k and no blarney?! Thanks guys.

Hi, Whilst I can't actually help with your problem on the Ford Galaxy, this S-Max website has a lot of info on the Galaxy and I'm sure that somebody could help you.
www.smaxownersclub.co.uk
Hope that helps.

I'm intrigued at the fact there's an owners club for Ford MPVs ;-)

There's an owners club for most things if you look!!!!
And besides, The S-Max is an MPV for people that don't want to admit it!!! (I'm about to become one of them soon)
