Civic Brakes sticking after washing. - mal
Hi I normaly leave my brakes off when garaging the car after washing to prevent them sticking.

The last time I washed the car I forgot to leave them off, the car was in the garage for 3 days and when I tried to move the car they were well and truly stuck, I had to ease the clutch out 3 times before the brakes released themselves with a loud noise.

Is this normal on my Civic Aerodeck discs all round.

Is it possible to cause any damage?.

Fairly normal. No damage caused. I would always drive the car a short distance to dry out brakes before parking up for days on end.

Because my car sometimes sits in the garage for a few days at a time, I often do a bit of left foot braking when arriving home if it's been 'precipitating' down, in the hope of heating the disks up and driving the damp off.
