p11 today's Telegraph
Thames Valley Safer Roads Partnership now using facial recognition software to identify drivers who try to deny it was them at the wheel..........
apparently a company specialising in image enhancement is used to improve the speed photo and it is compared to your driving licence photo.......any doubts and all the pictures are taken to court.
one side of me says 'fair enough, if you speed, then lie and Attempt to Pervert the Course of Justice then you deserve it...but...
the other side says 'yet more creeping big brother stuff and loss of civil liberties'
|
I thought that images that had been "enhanced" in any way were inadmissable in court.
Cheers

Time to start wearing the full veil. They can't have it both ways if your human right is to express your religion then demanding facial recognition.
Suppose crash helmets do the same thing.

Good oh, so Brad Pitt will get my tickets ...............

and it is compared to your driving licence photo
Wot's one of them then? hehe.

Doesn't everyone grimace when going past one ?

|
What did I do with that Osama bin Laden mask?
|
imo it's a can of worms..
Next they would try to prevent drivers hiding their face. Then using "unnatural photos" , then...
But remember if you are an unlicensed driver they won't have a photo so you'll be safe....
