W plate Pug 306 Airbag warning light - stella.a
Hi all
I have the above car and for a while now the amber airbag warning light on the dash has been flashing. To my knowledge the airbags have not been touched since new and the car has done circ 75k miles .The car is also fitted with an isolator by way of a keyswitch for the passenger.What is the likely cause of this flashing light please.

More than likely the connectors under the seat for the seat belt pretensioners.

True - well-documented issue. Push the seat well forward and look underneath from the back; the connectors may be clipped up to the under surface of the seat. You can try pulling them apart, one at a time, and pushing back together to remake the contact. Some people cut off the connectors and solder the wires together.
